Biological Activity

RC-106 is a high affinity, brain-penetrant, pan-sigma receptor modulator with Ki of 12.0 nM and 22.0 nM for S1R and S2R respectively.
RC-106 induces a decrease of cell viability in a panel of cancer cell lines (LNCaP, PC3, U87, Paca3, Capan-2, MDA MB 231, SUM 159) expressing both S1R and S2R.
RC-106 (10 uM) induces significant apoptosis in PaCa3 cells, which is caspase-dependent.
