Ractopamine is a small molecule TAAR1 agonist and β adrenoreceptor agonist that stimulates β1 and β2 adrenergic receptors.
Ractopamine produces concentration-dependent increases in chloride conductance in oocytes coexpressing hCFTR and mTAAR1, which can be completely reversed by mTAAR1 antagonist EPPTB.
