	RyR2 inhibitor EL9 is a potent mutant RyR2 channel inhibitor, inhibits Ca2+ spark frequency (CaSF) in R176Q/+ myocytes with IC50 of 13 nM.
	EL9 preferably targets the hyperactive mutant RyR2 channels.
	EL9 prevented the induction of ventricular tachycardia observed in placebo-treated R176Q/+ mice, without affecting heart rate or cardiac contractility.
