Biological Activity

SBFI-103 is a specific small molecule fatty acid binding protein 5 (FABP5) inhibitor with Ki of 1.72 uM, with limited activity against FABP3/FABP7.
SBFI-103 produced dose-dependent cytotoxicity in each cell-line tested: PC3 cells with IC50 values of 11.4 and 6.3 μM, respectively.
SBFI-103 (20 mg/kg, daily) inhibits subcutaneous tumor growth.
