Biological Activity

SCR-4026 is a small molecule inhibitor of nNOS-PSD95 interaction, disrupts nNOS-PSD-95 association with an IC50 of 6.3 μM in vitro.
SCR-4026 blocks NMDA-induced cell injury efficiently in cultured cortical neurons.
SCR-4026 prevents cytotoxicity induced by OGD. SCR-4026 blocks nNOS-PSD-95 interaction in cultured neurons in an NMDA model.
SCR-4026 (5 mg/kg, i.v.) significantly reduced the neurological deficit scores in MCAO model.
