potently inhibits six ovarian cancer cell lines with IC50 values ranging from 2.13 μM to 9.74 μM.
SIC-19 significantly enhances response to PARP inhibitors in ovarian cancer cell lines, ovarian cancer organoids and xenograft models.
SIC-19 decreases the phosphorylation of RAD50 and blocks the nuclear translocation of RAD50, impaires nuclear filament assembly and DNA repair.
SIC-19 alone significantly inhibited tumor growth in SKOV3 xenografts, the combination of SIC-19 and olaparib demonstrates even greater inhibition of tumor growth than either single agent alone.
