SMY002 is a potent novel small molecule STAT3 inhibitor, directly interacts and binds to STAT3 with SPR IC50 of 2 uM, inhibits the transcriptional activity of STAT3.
SMY002 inhibits the phosphorylation and activation of STAT3 in 4T1, MDA-MB-231, and MDA-MB-468 cells.
SMY002 specifically suppress STAT3 activation, not by inhibiting its upstream kinase JAK2 or other off-target effects but by directly interfering with STAT3 phosphorylation.
SMY002 induces apoptosis and cycle blockage in TNBC cells.
SMY002 attenuates the migration and invasion of TNBC cells in vitro.
SMY002 prevents xenograft TNBC cell growth and dissemination.
