SR9243 is a potent LXR inverse agonist that inhibits LXR activation by enhancing LXR-corepressor recruitment.
SR9243 potently reduces cancer cell viability in MTT reduction assays in prostate and lung cancer cells (IC50=15-104 nM).
SR9243 inhibits the Warburg effect and lipogenesis by reducing glycolytic and lipogenic gene expression.
