STX681 is a potent, orally active, dual-acting aromatase and steroid sulfatase (STS) inhibitor with IC50 of 0.82 nM and 39 nM, respectively.
STX681 significantly reduces plasma E2 levels, completely inhibits the growth of both MCF-7(STS) tumor growth and MCF-7(AROM) tumor in a xenograft nude mouse model.
