Biological Activity
TACR1 inhibitor C547 (C547-0555) is a specific tachykinin receptor 1 (TACR1) inhibitor, selectively suppresses Substance P (SP)-induced growth and proliferation in TACR1-high pancreatic cancer cells, attenuates SP-driven ERK signaling.
C547 attenuates SP-induced migration, EMT-associated transcriptional changes, and neurotrophin expression in pancreatic cancer cells.
C547 increases the expression of antigen-presentation- and immune chemokine-associated transcripts, including HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C, and CXCL10, under SP-treated conditions.
C547 suppresses SP-induced ERK activation through TACR1-dependent signaling.
C547 (10 mg/kg, i.p.) reduces orthotopic pancreatic tumor growth and tumor innervation in orthotopic pancreatic cancer model.
