Biological Activity

TKDC is a small molecule allosteric inhibitor of TREK channels with IC50 of 4.9, 5.2 and 65.9 uM for TREK-1, TREK-2 and TRAAK, respectively.
TKDC maintains potency for mutant TREK-1 channels with IC50 of 2.4, 2.4 and 2.2 uM for T79A TREK-1, Q83A TREK-1 and Q105A TREK-1, respectively.
TKDC decreases immobility and induces antidepressant-like effects in mice.
