Biological Activity
TX-1918 (TX1918) is a specific inhibitor of HIV-1 capsid assembly taregting the C-terminal domain of HIV-1 capsid (CA CTD) with IC50 of 3.81 uM, inhibits viral replication (EC50=15.16 μM) and inhibits CA assembly in vitro.
TX-1918 has an antiviral EC50 of 6.57 μM and cellular cytotoxicity CC50 of 102.55 μM was obtained from a compound similarity search.
TX-1918 also is an eEF-2K inhibitor, inhibits many kinases including Src, PKA, PKC, and EGFR.
