Ternatin is a highly N-methylated cyclic heptapeptide and potent inhibitor of fat accumulation against 3T3-L1 murine adipocytes with EC50 of 0.14 ug/mL, shows antiperoxidative effect against lipid peroxidation, targets eukaryotic elongation factor-1A (eEF1A) and inhibits protein synthesis, shows cytotoxicity to cancer cells.
