Biological Activity
ULTR-p38i 2015 is a potent, selective type 1.5 p38α inhibitor with IC50 of 4.8 nM, specifically inhibits p38α and p38β.
ULTR-p38i 2015 shows no actiivity against a panel of 340 kinases, apart from a moderate influence on JNK2.
ULTR-p38i 2015 increases cell death induction and reduces MK2 T334 phosphorylation in organoids overexpression of oncogenic Myc (KrasG12D;MycOE;Trp53−/−).
ULTR-p38i 2015 manipulates the mitotic entry and induce mitotic catastrophe in CRC.
ULTR-p38i 2015 induces apoptosis and cellular senescence in CRC, blocks metastatic CRC development.
ULTR-p38i 2015 strongly reduces cell viability in a panel of human CRC cell lines (HCT-15, HCT 116, COLO 205, LS 174T, RKO and HT-29).
ULTR-p38i 2015 shows strong activity in different CRC models, with no adverse effects on mice.
