Biological Activity

VA1213 is a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor with IC50 of 66.28 uM, suppresses tumor cells growth (HT-29 IC50=26.6 uM, 48h).
VA1213 regulates cell cycle checkpoint proteins and apoptosis in colorectal cancer cells.
VA1213 impairs tumor cell migration and colony forming ability.
VA1213 impairs tumor cell response by inhibiting the MAPK, PI3K/AKT pathways and EGFR activation.
