PRAX-628 inhibits ATX-II induced persistent INa expressed by multiple NaV isoforms and orthologs. PRAX-628 inhibits persistent sodium current (INa) in neurons, a mechanism linked to epilepsy. PRAX-628 exhibits fast apparent binding and moderate apparent unbinding compared to a panel of standard of NaV blockers.
