JM7 is a small-molecule that inhibits TEAD palmitoylation and stability, affects YAP-TEAD interaction and inhibits YAP transcriptional activity and impairs proliferation, colony formation and migration of breast and ovarian cancer cells.
JM7 inhibits YAP transcriptional activity in a dose-dependent manner in cellular reportor assays, also inhibits YAP target gene expression, significantly downregulates the expression of both CTGF and CYR61 transcript levels in MDA-MB- 231 and OVCAR-8 cells.
JM7 interferes with YAP/TAZTEAD interaction, directly engages TEAD1-4 in cells.
JM7 (2 uM) inhibits proliferation, colony forming ability and migration of the MDA-MB-231 and OVCAR-8 cancer cells.
