YH18968 is a novel potent, selective GPR119 receptor agonist, potently induces intracellular cAMP accumulation with EC50 of 2.8 nM.
YH18968 activated human GPR119 approximately 4-fold more potently than MBX2982.
YH18968 elicited dose-dependent increases in insulin release from HIT-T15 cells with EC50 of 3.5 nM.
YH18968 mediated the dual functional activity of GLP-1 secretion and GSIS at the cellular level.
YH18968 (10 mg/kg, oral) improved glucose tolerance in normal C57BL/6J mice.
