YSN-1-167 is a small molecule inhibitor of Enterovirus 71 (EV71) infection with IC50 of 11.66 uM (viral RNA detection), inhibits viral replication by suppressing 3D polymerase (3Dpol) activity of EV71.
YSN-1-167 shows dose-dependent suppression of VP1 protein and viral RNA in Vero cells, with an IC50 of 9.64 μM.
YSN-1-167 exerts an antiviral effect by targeting the replication stage of the EV71 life cycle, but not the attachment and entry stages.
YSN-1-167 exerts anti-EV71 activity by inhibiting EV71 3D polymerase activity, potentially through interacting with the 3D protein.
YSN-1-167 significantly suppresses the inflammatory response induced by LPS treatment and EV71 infection.
YSN-1-167 (14 mg/kg) exerts anti-EV71 activity in mice, alleviates virus-induced muscle damage.
