Biological Activity

ZINC40099027 is a specific focal adhesion kinase (FAK) activator, actually activates FAK at concentrations as low as 10 nM.
ZINC40099027 (10–1000 nM) dose-dependently activated FAK phosphorylation, without activating Pyk2-Tyr-402 or Src-Tyr-419.
ZINC40099027 (10 nM) increased FAK-Tyr 397 phosphorylation by 12.9%, 19.1%, 31.1% at 1hr, 6hr, 24hr respectively, in treated migrating Caco-2 cells.
ZINC40099027 stimulates Caco-2 cell monolayer wound closure.
ZINC40099027 dose-dependently increased FAK-Tyr-397 phosphorylation with Emax 36.0% in Caco-2 cells.
ZINC40099027 promotes intestinal mucosal healing in a murine ischemic ulcer model, promotes the healing of indomethacin-induced small intestine injury in mice and does not affect murine kidney and liver morphology.
