    Biological Activity

    ZVS-08 is a selective inhibitor of the voltage-gated potassium channel KV10.1 with IC50 of 3.7 uM.
    ZVS-08 showed no significant inhibition against the KV1.1, KV1.3, KV1.4, KV2.1, KV4.2, NaV1.4, and NaV1.5 ion channels.
    ZVS-08 inhibited the growth of MCF-7 cells (IC50=6.8 uM), a breast cancer cell line showing high KV10.1 expression and low hERG expression.
    ZVS-08 was much less active on cells expressing hERG or on normal cells.
    ZVS-08 induced apoptosis efficiently in Colo 357 cells.
