iCDM-34 is a small molecule inhibitor with anti-HCV and anti-HBV activities, suppresses HBV DNA and acts as an aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) agonist.
iCDM-34 suppresses cellular HBV DNA levels with IC50 of 19.7 uM.
iCDM-34 (30 uM) inhibits medium HBV DNA, HBsAg, and HBeAg with showing a additive effect with entecavir (ETV) in primary cultured human hepatocytes.
iCDM-34 alone does not reduce HBV DNA in the liver, but the combination of iCDM-34 and ETV drastically suppresses the amount of HBV DNA in the liver compared with ETV alone.
iCDM-34 does not induce IFN signaling pathway and induces different characteristic signal pathways compared to CDM-3008 (Cat# PC-21583).
iCDM-34 induces AhR signaling, inhibits phosphorylation of SAMHD1 mediated by CDK1/2, suppresses CDK1/2 mRNA expression.
