8-prenylnaringenin has anti-proliferative activity against HCT-116 colon cancer cells via induction of intrinsic and extrinsic pathway-mediated apoptosis.
8-Prenylnaringenin also promotes recovery from immobilization-induced disuse muscle atrophy through activation of the Akt phosphorylation pathway in mice.
8-Prenylnaringenin causes the accumulation of lung cancer cells in G0/G1 phase.
Combination therapy effectively reduced tumor growth and enhanced tumor necrosis in tumor xenograft mice models.
8PN increases interleukin (IL)6 and IL8 expression, induces neutrophil infiltration, and enhances neutrophil-mediated cytotoxicity to attenuate lung cancer cell growth.
