A-68930 is a potent, specific, orally bioavailable agonist of the D1 dopamine receptor (D1DR) with EC50 of 2.5 nM.
A-68930 shows a much weaker agonist (EC50=3,920 nM) at the D2 dopamine receptor.
A-68930 demonstrates antidepressant and anorectic effects in animal models without stimulant effects.
