AAL993 (ZK260253) is a potent, orally active VEGFR inhibitor with IC50 of 130, 23 and 18 nM for VEGFR-1, 2 and 3, respectively。
AAL993 (ZK260253) dose-dependently inhibits tumor growth in nude mice bearing human prostate carcinoma (DU145) subcutaneous xenografts。
AAL993 (ZK260253) possesses dual functions: inhibition of VEGFR signaling and HIF-1alpha expression under the hypoxic condition, suppresses HIF-1alpha expression through ERK inhibition without affecting Akt phosphorylation.
