Biological Activity

AJO14 is a specific and effective NUPR1 inhibitor with Kd of 4.9 uM.
AJO14 inhibits PDAC cells proliferation (IC50: 10.6-23.7 uM) in vitro due to interaction with NUPR1.
AJO14 displays very low hERG binding ability, compared with ZZW-115.
AJO14 kills pancreatic cancers by combining several cell death mechanisms, AJO14 could induce cancer cell death by necroptosis, parthanatos, and apoptosis.
AJO14 induces energetic metabolic failure by inducing a mitochondrial catastrophe.
AJO14 (10 mg/kg) inhibits PDAC tumor development in mice bearing pancreatic cancer MIA PaCa-2 cell lines xenograft.
