AK-778-XXMU is a small molecule inhibitor of protein ID2 (inhibitor of DNA binding 2) with SPR KD value of 129 nM.
AK-778-XXMU inhibits cell migration and invasion of glioma cell lines, induces apoptosis, and more importantly, slows down the tumor growth.
Serving as an inhibitor of differentiation, protein ID2 (inhibitor of DNA binding 2) plays an important role in neurogenesis, neovascularization and malignant development of gliomas.
