Biological Activity

AK177 is a small-molecule activator of the IRE1α RNase activity with EC50 of 0.48 uM and 0.18 uM for unphosphorylated and phosphorylated IRE1α, respectively, in FRET assay.
AK177 stabilized both the phosphorylated and nonphosphorylated IRE1α upon binding measured by DSF assay in a concentration-dependent manner.
