Biological Activity

AMPKα1 activator 22f is a potent and selective AMPKα1 activator with EC50 of 35.1 nM (AMPKα1β1γ1), 176-fold selectivity over AMPKα2.
AMPKα1 activator 22f shows significant protective effect in NRK-52E cells subjected to hypoxia-reoxygenation injury.
AMPKα1 activator 22f selectively activates renal AMPKα1, significantly attenuating serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen levels in RIRI mice model, alleviating kidney damage and reducing cellular infiltration.
