AR102 is a potent, selective, and broad-spectrum activity against schistosome species.
AR102 is a potent antischistosomal with ED50 values of 7.8 and 18 mg/kg against the adult and juvenile stages of S. mansoni in infected mice and ED50 values of 8.5 and 6.3 mg/kg against adult S. haematobium in infected hamsters and adult S. japonicum in infected mice, respectively.
