Biological Activity

AS4040605 is a novel retinoic acid receptor-α (RARα) inhibitor, suppresses IL2+IL33-induced IL-5 production in mouse type 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2s) with IC50 of 7.9 nM.
AS4040605 inhibited not only the increased production of IL-5 by RA stimulation but also the increased production of IL-5 by IL-2+IL-33 stimulation.
AS4040605 acts as an inverse agonist of RARα on ILC2s.
