Biological Activity

AV3-1 (TRPV3 activator 1) is a specific small molecule TRPV3 activator with EC50 of 2.0 μM for mouse TRPV3 and 7.2 μM for human TRPV3.
TRPV3 activation via AV3-1 stimulates PI3 kinases in an EGFR-dependent manner.
AV3-1 activated mouse and human TRPV3 channels with higher potency than known TRPV3 activators in Ca2+ assays and electrophysiological recordings.
TRPV3 activator 1 stimulated ATP release in KU-19-19 bladder cancer cells.
