Biological Activity

B1486 is a highly potent, specific VprBP inhibitor with IC50 of 3.8 nM, inhibits VprBP-driven osteoclastogenesis and H2AT120p.
B1486 dose-dependently generates abortive OCP cell differentiation with a full inhibitory activity at low nanomolar concentrations.
B1486 inhibits RANKL-induced osteoclast differentiation by attenuating VprBP-mediated H2AT120p and re-activating anti-osteoclastogenic genes.
B1486 attenuates bone resortion in zebrafish.
B1486 interferes with bone destruction in mice.
