Biological Activity

BDK inhibitor BT3 is a small molecule allosteric inhibitor of BCKDC kinase (BDK, branched-chain ketoacid dehydrogenase kinase).
BT3 significantly increase BCKDC activity in wild-type and MSUD cells.
BT3 is a prodrug of BT2 is more efficient than BT2 itself in enhancing BCKDC activity at the cellular level.
