Biological Activity

BI-1347 is a potent, selective inhibitor of CDK8/CDK19 with IC50 of 1.4 nM/1.9 nM, respectively.

BI-1347 displays no inhibition of other CDKs tested (e.g. CDK1, CDK2, CDK4, CDK6, CDK7 and CDK9).

BI-1347 impacts the growth of a subset of hematological cancer cells lines, whilst solid tumor cell lines are unaffected

BI-1347 potently decrease the phosphorylation of STAT1 S727.

BI-1347 enhances the NK cell cytotoxicity results in a strong synergistic antitumor efficacy in the murine syngeneic EMT6 breast cancer model.
