Biological Activity

BKI-1369 is an effective bumped kinase inhibitor (BKI), inhibits Theileria equi in vitro and reduces parasite burden and disease severity in the gnotobiotic pig model; exhibits a significant reduction of oocyst excretion, mucosal colonization by C. hominis, and mucosal lesions, which resulted in considerable symptomatic improvement.
