Biological Activity

BRD9539 is a small molecule inhibitor of histone hethyltransferase of G9a (euchromatin histone methyltransferase 2, EHMT2) with IC50 of 6.3 uM.
BRD9539 also inhibits PRC2 activity with a similar IC50, displays no inhibition aginst SUV39H1 and DNMT1.
BRD9539 is a more potent biochemical inhibitor than its methyl-ester analogue BRD4770.
