Biological Activity
CDD-2807 is a highly potent, selective inhibitor of serine/threonine kinase 33 (STK33) with biochemically Kd of 0.02 nM, IC50 of 9.2 nM in NanoBRET assays, induces contraceptive effect.
CDD-2807 displays >9-fold selective STK33 inhibitor versus other kinases, including CLK1/2/4 and RET.
CDD-2807 treatment (50 mg/kg/day) induces a reversible contraceptive effect in mice, could easily cross the blood-testis barrier to cause infertility.
CDD-2807 is an excellent chemical probe that can be used to perform additional safety and toxicological studies in vivo, including analysis in nonhuman primates.
