Biological Activity

CGP-53353 (DAPH-7) is a selective inhibitor of PKCβII with IC50 of 0.41 uM, shows weak activity on PKCβI with IC50 of 3.8 uM.
CGP-53353 also inhibits prionogenic Sup35 fibrillization (IC50= 3.4 uM) and inhibits de novo Aβ42 assembly in vitro.
