CGP049090 (Cercosporin) is a small-molecule that specifically inhibits the interaction of β-catenin/LEF1 transcriptional complex in colon carcinoma cell lines.
CGP049090 efficiently kills CLL cells with LC50 of <1 uM, without significantly toxcity for normal B cells.
CGP049090 is well tolerated and exhibits tumor inhibition in in vivo studies.
