CGS 27023A shows growth-inhibitory effects in breast carcinoma, prostate, bladder, colon, lung adenocarcinoma, glioblastoma, and ovarian carcinoma cell line.
CGS 27023A protects the cartilage proteoglycan matrix in a partial meniscectomy model of osteoarthritis in rabbits.
