Biological Activity

ClpXP inhibitor 334 is a small molecule inhibitor of the mitochondrial ClpXP protease with anti-cancer activity.
ClpXP inhibitor 334 impaired viability and colony formation of various leukemia cell lines efficiently reduced the viability of Jurkat cells with IC50 of 12.93 uM.
ClpXP inhibitor 334 induced cell death in ALL and AML PDX cells and PBMCs by impairing the integrity of the mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), induced cellular stress and alters the mitochondrial proteostasis.
ClpXP inhibitor 334 enhanced chemo-sensitivity of leukemia cells towards chemotherapy.
