Biological Activity

Cortodoxone is a glucocorticoid steroid hormone that can be oxygenated to cortisol (Hydrocortisone); exhibits corticosteroid binding characteristics, including DNA binding; 11-deoxycortisol is regulated by the hypothalamus-pituitary axis and responded to acute stress; impedes GABAergic neurotransmission and induces drug-resistant status epilepticus in mice.
