Creatine kinase inhibitor CKi-1 is a selective, covalent inhibitor of creatine kinases (CKs), inhibits recombinant creatine kinase B (CKB) phosphotransfer activity with IC50 of 1.2 uM, depletes creatine phosphagen energetics in cells.
Creatine kinase inhibitor CKi-1 (10-20 uM) rapidly and selectively depletes creatine phosphate, and drives toxicity selectively in CK-dependent acute myeloid leukemia.
CKi-1 selectively engages the active site cysteine (Cys283) of CKs in cells.
CKi-1 inhibits cell viability in UCSD-AML1 cells with EC50 of 3.0 uM.
