    DS42450411 (DS 42450411, DS-42450411) is a potent, orally active hepcidin production inhibitor with IC50 of 32 nM.
    The inhibition of hepcidin production of DS42450411 was suggested to be through the inhibition of DYRK1a or a kinase belonging to CMGC family.
    DS42450411 shows serum hepcidin-lowering effects in a mouse model of interleukin-6-induced acute inflammation.
