Biological Activity

DS44470011 is a potent, selective hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase (HIF-PHD) inhibitor with IC50 of 1.5 uM for HIF-PHD2, induces erythropoietin (EPO) release in Hep3B cells with EC50 of 8.4 uM.
DS44470011 is effective at inducing EPO release from cells and in vivo,with EPO10 value of 2.2 mg/kg, more potent than FG-2216.
