    Biological Activity

Dazucorilant (CORT113176) is a potent, selective glucocorticoid receptor (GR) modulator with Ki of < 1 nM, with low or null affinity for other steroid receptors.
Dazucorilant (CORT113176) reverses hippocampal amyloid-β peptide generation, neuroinflammation, and apoptotic processes, restores the hippocampal levels of synaptic markers, re-establishes basal plasma levels of glucocorticoids, and improves cognitive function in vivo.
Dazucorilant (CORT113176) reversed the abnormalities of motoneurons and down-regulated proinflammatory mediators, prevented neuropathology and showed anti-inflammatory and anti-glutamatergic effects in the spinal cord of Wobbler mice.
Dazucorilant (CORT113176) also selectively reduced binge-like EtOH intake and BECs in the HDID-1 mice.
