Biological Activity
ERAD inhibitor CP26 (NSC26112) is a small molecule inhibitor of Hrd1 complex-mediated dislocation, inhibits NHK dislocation in HeLa cells with IC50 of 4.45 μM in the drGFP assays, shows broad-spectrum anti-flavivirus activity.
CP26 inhibited CD3δ dislocation with an IC50 of 34.97 μM in the drGFP assay in Hela cells.
CP26 inhibited dislocation by targeting a protein within the Hrd1 complex.
CP26 inhibited NHK ubiquitination and degradation.
CP26 activates the UPR, inhibits cholera toxin stimulated cAMPin Hela cells with IC50 of 1.1 uM, but not ricin activity.
CP26 (200 nM) exhibited broad spectrum anti-DENV and anti-ZIKA activity in Huh-7 cells.
