Epoxykynin is a potent, selective soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) with IC50 of 36 nM, inhibits the hydrolase activity of sEH and modulates kynurenine pathway.
potently inhibits kynurenine (Kyn) production with IC50 of 13.0 nM in IFN-γ-stimulated HeLa cells.
does not inhibit phosphatase activity of sEH and not affect the in vitro enzymatic activity of IDO1.
Epoxykynin inhibits the hydrolase activity of purified sEH very potently with IC50 of 6.7 nM.
Epoxykynin reduces Kyn levels in cells expressing IDO1.
