Ezeprogind (AZP2006) is a lysotropic molecule with neuroprotective effects, binds to PGRN/PSAP complex with higher affinity (Kd=201 nM) than PSAP (Kd=624 nM), inhibits TLR9 receptors.
AZP2006 prevents neuronal death induced by Aβ injury, and reduces the associated microglial activation in rat cortical neurons.
AZP2006 prevent Aβ25-35 damages in AD mice model.
AZP2006 significantly improved senescence behavior and markers in SAMP8 mice.
